HSV GRANGE

With E2, the HSV driver can make a statement more eloquently than ever. the new front end signals the awesome power that lurks within. the new shockwave graphic of the front grille puts the unique HSV attitude right in your face. new daytime running lamps, offered for the first time on an australian production car, sap 85% less energy than conventional low beam globes, but are brighter, safer and striking to look at, so you’ll stand out on the road like never before. you’ll want to drive one at first sight – trust your instincts.

To maximise performance across the range, the intelligent engine control system adjusts every 6.25 milliseconds. It is as natural as breathing. The result can be breathtaking.

To enhance integration of driver and car, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) includes driver assist technology. Competition Mode ESC is an Australian production first offering greater feel through corners than traditional electronic stability settings. Extended Cruise Control (ECC), another example of technology leadership, modulates your speed to keep you legal through every rise and fall of the road.

From a slick city street to the open highway, you’ll get more out of Australian roads when you’re gliding on Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) suspension, featured on GTS, Senator Signature and Grange. The ride becomes instinctive and can match your mood at the touch of a button, offering the perfect balance of driving comfort and dynamic handling by selecting Track or Performance modes. This is car and driver working together to achieve the perfect driving experience.

Nothing can hold it back, except you. In a first for an Australian production car, Launch Control makes maximum acceleration become second nature in manual E2 HSVs, with total control all the way to the redline.

A unique human/machine relationship begins as your HSV E2 takes shape. Hundreds of new E2 components are fitted by the highly skilled technicians at our production facility in Clayton, Victoria. From the Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) to the exhaust tips, much of your HSV E2 is assembled by hand. Before the finished product is allowed to leave our premises, every detail is checked by a uniquely precise instrument – the human eye. It’s a state of the art process that elevates, rather than replaces, the importance of craftsmanship. Pride becomes a standard feature. Perfection becomes instinctive.

With sophisticated design and understated performance cues, these luxurious vehicles will suit the most discerning driver right down to the bitumen. Your eye for detail will enjoy the HSV Luxury body design and the Nappa leather interior. Your spine will appreciate the height and reach adjustable steering wheel and the stored driver’s seat position for up to three drivers. And your right foot will appreciate the 317kW of refined power and Competition mode ESC that helps you leave ordinary cars far behind. The driver/ car relationship has reached a higher plane.

With a Blaupunkt entertainment system, including rear seat overhead DVD player, even a long highway drive can seem timeless. And at journey’s end, Front and Rear Park Assist guides you through the tightest spaces without risking the elegant HSV Luxury body design, capped off with a new HSV badge on the front grille and a flush mounted Luxury rear spoiler.

The Grange driver enjoys the ride while passengers are entertained in luxurious surrounds. Dual LCD screens and wireless headsets will maximise enjoyment of the DVD player. All can share the pleasure of the MP3-compatible Bose Premium audio system and 6-disc in-dash CD player. But of course, the best entertainment of all is viewed through the front windscreen, brilliantly illuminated by self-levelling Xenon headlamps and front fog lamps. Then when you reach your destination, puddle lamps assist on exiting your elegant limousine.
